Over 1000 mothers to benefit from Nyonta Relief in Buhuka, kyangwali, kikuube district.

Nyonta Relief has launched a Nyonta point campaign which is going to help over 1000 mothers in buhuka parish, kyangwali subcounty, Kikuube district.

The campaign which was launched yesterday evening at Mpaaro guest apartments will involve fundraising for the mothers where a given individual will dedicate a birthday to save a mother, He or she will buy the Nyota relief point worth UGX 250,000 for the beneficiary and in return Nyonta Relief will plant 4 trees per person who donates in appreciation hence environmental conservation.

Chris Matabi Sekitoleko the Nyonta relief founder disclosed that they want to use the point to provide clean water to kikuube residents and especially to mothers in buhuka parish, he described the point as water filter that uses gravity to purify and make water safe for drinking without the need of power or chemicals which replaces the boiling of water.

He added that over 33 children die every day due to a drinking water related illness, that’s why he introduced a fresh water sauce to help families through mothers since the mother is the care taker in a family.

However Hillary Agondenze the Kikuube district water Officer urged civil servants to embrace the new water technology and even buy their own Nyonta relief points for safe and clean water since they hardly get time to personally boil their drinking water.

Agondeze added that several tastes have been made on the filtered water were results have always come out as safe and clean water for human consumption.

ABOUT US

CommNews&Info is the Refugee Press Team with members in the U.S, Canada and Uganda. We report on refugee news and other information from refugee camps and settlements and many places they are resettled to in the west.

Our Plan is to avail News, Information and Technologies to remote places, specifically the refugee camps. Our founder realized that there isn't enough effort to get refugees informed making them vulnerable to fake news, misinformation in general, and rumors, something we are addressing.

CommNews&Info is owned by Refugee News and Information Africa Limited (RNIA Ltd.). Among other things we are planning to address is the need for eLearning for schools through providing connectivity in the form of WiFi so students can easily surf the web at schools and in public places.

We also support education for young girls through The Falone Girls Fund.
