Kikuube district chairman, speaker and DEC members launches a5 days monitory program in the district



Together the District boss Hon. Peter Banura, speaker Hon Nkalu Christopher and members of the executive plus corresponding technical staffs in their respective departments, paid a courtsey visit, to monitor different activities on-going at different places in Kyangwali and Kabwooya respectively.


They started the day at Nyawaiga primary school in Nkondo parish, Kabwooya lower at the shores of L.Albert checkingk on the construction work of the three class room blocks and toilets, later moved to Nyairongo seed secondary school and made astop over at Butoole primary school to check on the VHTs who had gathered to receive their allowances. They were so passionate, and the team commended them for being patriotic and being foot soldiers during this period of pandemic and challenged them to continue mobilising our communities to eradicate poverty.

The chair from here advised the leaders and VHTs that for a developed kikuube district the need to work together (unity), forgiveness is much needed.


He added that he's very committed to seeing the better kikuube through delivering the best of him.

The district speaker, appreciated the teams and leaders for the work they're doing and promised to get more administrative units in kyangwali.


He further updated the community and the current stand on the tobacco payment.


From here, they as well checked on Kyarushesha Dairy project, and where so impressed by the level of organization .


Later, they winded up the day at Kyangwali Health centre iii, were they were happily received by the Deputy incharge, sister Auma, found ateam of hardworking nurses and doctors, and visited the whole facility and later they had an interaction with the front liners.


Alot was discussed, and brought to the attention of DEC members including an ardent need to eliviate kyangwali Health centre iii to HCiv, need for accomodation of Staff, extention of martenity ward and other in-patient wards, promotion of staff as one way of motivating them among others.


The district boss Mr Banura Peter and his team gave them 100k cash to buy refreshments as atoken of appreciation for the good work.

Further more, on the second day off the 5days monitoring program, Today, Kikuube District Chairperson Mr Peter Banura, speaker, Some members of the Executive and the clerk to council, we paid acourtsey visit to Bugoma Jungle Hotel and Nguse Hotel, all these beautiful hotels are located in Kabwooya Upper, Kikuube District.
